Après avoir été licencié de son poste au championnat de basket NCAA, l’entraîneur de basket-ball masculin Marvyn Korn se voit contraint d’accepter un emploi de prof dans un lycée de jeunes filles. Il va vite s’apercevoir que ces adolescentes sont bien plus que des pions à placer sur un terrain et qu’elles demandent certaines attentions qui lui sont totalement étrangères. En apprenant à communiquer différemment, Marvyn va devenir celui qu’il a toujours rêvé d’être. De leur côté, les joueuses commenceront à se laisser gagner par l’esprit sportif, prenant autant d’assurance sur le terrain que dans la vie !
