Nieciekawa historia / A Boring Story (1983)

Based on a short story by Anton Chekhov. Anatomy professor Nikolai Stepanovich analyzes his life and discovers that it consists solely of the monotony of daily activities. Social conventions prevent him from pursuing a relationship with the woman who might provide the meaning he is missing.
