This amazingly well done History Channel documentary about the conflict between Edison and Westinghouse as they were developing the electricity system in the late 19th century. This documentary includes lots of content about Tesla and references some of the important work that was done in Germany that is usually left out of the Americanized version of events.

Scenes of the Niagara Falls power generation plant are included among the excellent visuals and historical footage of this documentary. I was happy to see that the documentary maker Axel Engstfeld included information about the Wardenclyffe tower that was to begin transmitting wireless electricity. As most of you know, J.P. Morgan is said to have disrupted the development of this technology. Rather than lie or ignore that part of history, the filmmaker reports the basic events that took place and makes no claims whether the tower would have functioned as planned.
