It’s a story about a group of unlicensed street steamed dumpling vendors in the 1980s Beijing. A guy named Liu Jianjun is in love with Shen Hong, a restaurant waitress, who is only interested in moving to America. Jianjun’s best friend, a traffic cop is killed for protecting Shen Hong. Jianjun gathers his friends to revenge his death and the murderer is then killed by Jianjun’s younger brother, whose girlfriend also lost her life during the fight. Shen Hong finally get her visa to America and she agreed to help Jianjun to loose his virginity the night before her flight. All Jianjun needs now is to find a condom…
