Il film racconta la storia di un celebre personaggio dei videogame del passato che si trova a dover affrontare i nuovi e supertecnologici videogiochi moderni. Ralph è stanco di essere messo in ombra da Fix-It Felix, il "bravo ragazzo" campione nel loro gioco dove ogni volta finisce per salvare la situazione. Ma dopo decenni trascorsi guardando Felix ricevere tutta la gloria, Ralph decide che è arrivato il momento di smettere di interpretare il ruolo del cattivo. Così, prende in mano la situazione e inizia un viaggio attraverso i giochi arcade, passando per ogni generazione di videogame per dimostrare di avere tutte le carte in regola per essere un eroe. Durante la sua ricerca, incontra il duro Sergente Calhoun, dallo sparatutto in prima persona Hero’s Duty. Ma è il mondo dell’esuberante Vanellope von Schweetz, dalla corsa di macchine caramellate Sugar Rush, che si troverà a essere in pericolo quando Ralph libererà accidentalmente un nemico mortale che minaccia l’intero arcade. Riuscirà Ralph a realizzare il suo sogno e a salvare la situazione prima che sia troppo tardi?

Wreck-It Ralph (voice of Reilly) longs to be as beloved as his game's perfect Good Guy, Fix-It Felix (voice of McBrayer). Problem is, nobody loves a Bad Guy. But they do love heroes… so when a modern, first-person shooter game arrives featuring tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Lynch), Ralph sees it as his ticket to heroism and happiness. He sneaks into the game with a simple plan – win a medal – but soon wrecks everything, and accidentally unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens every game in the arcade. Ralph's only hope? Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Silverman), a young troublemaking "glitch" from a candy-coated cart racing game who might just be the one to teach Ralph what it means to be a Good Guy. But will he realize he is good enough to become a hero before it's "Game Over" for the entire arcade?

Recovery Volumes (.rev)
Recovery volumes or .rev files are special files which can be created by WinRAR/RAR and allow you to reconstruct missing and damaged files in a volume set. They can
only be used with multi-volume archives.
This feature may be useful for backups or, for example, when you post a multivolume archive to a newsgroup and some of the subscribers did not receive some files. Reposting recovery volumes instead of usual volumes may reduce the total number of files to repost.
Each recovery volume is able to reconstruct one missing RAR volume. For example, if you have 30 volumes and 3 recovery volumes, you are able to reconstruct any 3 missing volumes. If the number of .rev files is less than a number of missing volumes, reconstructing is impossible. The total number of usual and recovery volumes must not exceed 255 and the number of recovery volumes must be less than the number of RAR volumes.
WinRAR reconstructs missing and damaged volumes either when clicking on .rev file, or when using rc command or automatically, if it cannot locate the next volume and finds the required number of .rev files when unpacking.
You may use the "Recovery volumes" option in the Archive name and parameters dialog or a similar option also appears in the Protect archive command to create recovery volumes. In the command line mode you may do it with -rv switch or rv command.
Original copies of damaged volumes are renamed to *.bad before reconstruction. For example, volname.part03.rar will be renamed to volname.part03.rar.bad.
