Il film segue le vicende di personaggi imprigionati nella Rete e nelle trappole che si nascondono nelle chat, nei siti di incontro e nei social network. Una coppia di sposi in crisi vittima di un furto perpetrato da un hacker; un ex poliziotto in difficoltà con il figlio teenager che fa il bullo su Internet; una giornalista televisiva che cerca di convincere un ragazzo coinvolto in un losco giro di video chat per adulti a diventare il protagonista di un suo reportage. Sono loro i protagonisti di questa storia che mescola dramma, thriller e azione.
