The Thoreaus join Joe’s ex-wife (Penelope Ann Miller) and her new boyfriend for a school charity event—where none other than Terry serves as the auctioneer. While there, Terry encounters a former ladylove. Joe opts to dine with his bookie instead of attending the function.
