Preacher #1-66 + Specials Complete (Garth Ennis)

is a comic book series created by writer Garth Ennis and artist Steve Dillon, published by the American comic book label Vertigo imprint of DC Comics, with painted covers by Glenn Fabry. The series consists of 75 issues in total — 66 regular, monthly issues, five one-shot specials and a four-issue limited series. The final monthly issue, number 66, was released in July 2000. At the time of its run it was — and still is — generally considered as one of the greatest comics titles of all time. It set the reputation of Irish comics writer Garth Ennis and firmly established him in the firmament of the all-time comics greats. Most highly recommended.

A down and out cursed/blessed southern boy preacher, a hard livin' Irish vampire and the Preacher's gunslinging ex grilfriend travel and fight the world to question The All-Mighty Himself, as to why he quit his sacred task of caring for the world. Along the way a colorful cast of supporting characters walk into the story including a Cowboy who can kill anything, a once suicidally depressed teen who just happens to have a face like an arse, and a zealot assasin by the name of Starr. Buckle up for a crazy ride cause Vertigo's groundbreaking Preacher is out to get you. Widely regarded as one of the greatest comics titles of all time. --
