Ben Blatt’s intricate watercolor paintings focus on precious objects set in idealized nature-scapes rigorously rendered with twisting, virtuosic detail. In Blatt’s visionary world, objets de virtu and regal treasures are overgrown by layers of nature just as beautiful as the jewels they encroach upon.
