Tekno Comix published comic books between 1995 and 1997. The company was founded by Laurie Silvers and Mitchell Rubenstein (best known for developing the American Sci Fi Channel) as a division of their publicly traded company, Big Entertainment. The Tekno Comix brand was discontinued in 1997, though books featuring the same characters continued were published with Big Entertainment branding for the rest of that year. Tekno Comix publications featured characters and situations created by well-known people, but were primarily scripted and illustrated by hired comics creators.
