This week’s issue of Carp-Talk (issue 1227) is available to download now!

The big girls are certainly on the munch; we have two UK sixties in this week’s Carp-Talk! The largest of which is a new sixty for Cambridgeshire, a 64lb mirror landed by Lee Marshall. Also in on the sixties act was David Pendegrass, who landed a gold-rated Most Wanted 60¾lb mirror from his Kent syndicate. Besides the two UK sixty-pounders, we also have a fantastic story from six-year-old Landon Pepper, who landed a 63lb common from Parco Del Brenta in Italy. Numerous UK fifties were also caught this week, with one of the most stand-out captures coming to Roger Bacon, who topped a 54-fish catch from Grenville’s Lake with a 53lb 14oz mirror.

We have the full round of from Round Five of the BCAC qualifiers as well as a special full page review of the awesome new line from ASSO Fishing Line. Mainline’s Callum Boyle recalls a recent social fishing trip which saw him land a personal best common. Nash cameraman Lewis Porter visits the famous Angling Projects Lake in the Colne Valley and bags himself a new PB off the surface while our very own Simon Crow is back with the second part to his Spitfire Pool feature. Finally Steve Coe details the trials and tribulations of carp match fishing plus we have the latest products in Trade-Talk from Primus, Wychwood, ESP, Navitas, RidgeMonkey and Fox International.

We have three Wychwood Extricator reels worth over £260 up for grabs, plus the monthly Sticky winners are revealed along with the weekly Mainline Baits winners.
