In 2013, Blacc collaborated with Swedish DJ Avicii on the song "Wake Me Up!" for the first single from Avicii's album True. The song was released on 17 June, 2013. The song was a global success, peaking at number one in 17 countries and peaking top 5 in many others. It also marked his first single to chart on the US Billboard Hot 100. Aloe Blacc, best known for his international hit single "I Need a Dollar," is gearing up for the worldwide release of his third album and debut for XIX Recordings/Interscope Records, entitled Lift Your Spirit. The album released in the fall internationally, where Blacc has amassed a devout following, and in the U.S. and Canada in early 2014.
