Elysian Park is a piece of unspoiled paradise in downtown Los Angeles. Home to countless birds and (perceived) endless green spaces, the park plays the role of muse for tstewart's 21-track album Elysian

Each track is named after one of his favorite spots at the Elysian, and tstewart compares his crescendos to the large, never-ending steps found outside the park. As the new project from Machinedrum, the artist behind Kane Train and the prominent A$AP Ferg star remix, tstewart has signed to Mercury KX and offers a diverse, piano-driven sound that contrasts with his previous glitchy, pop-heavy work

"Elysian literally means 'heaven for heroes.' I'm not religious. For me, the idea of heaven is an inner peace that you seek while you're alive. I try to find moments in my life when I connect with that feeling, and one of the easiest ways is through exploring nature." - tstewart

The Elysian album follows tstewart's personal challenge to produce 21 tracks all by himself. The record is an exhilarating soundtrack to his walks in the park, pitting hectic life against the relief of a break with green roots. The complex melodies exude tstewart's newfound classical expertise, while he relies on exposed instrumentation to represent the jumps and climbs in the park.
