The Altair Engineering development team is pleased to announce the availability of Altair Inspire Form 2023.1 is a unique software that enables users to optimally design sheet metal components considering manufacturing feasibility and material cost.

New Features and Enhancements 2023.1
The Inspire Form 2023.1 release includes the following new features and enhancements

Feasibility
Blank Nesting Parameters
Users now have the option in the Blank Nesting dialog to click directly into the Preferences for the sheet dimensions.
Blank Nesting Report
The gross weight of the blank is now included in the Blank Nesting Report from a Nesting analysis.
Tryout
Thickness Result
Inspire Form now supports a Thickness result for multilayered solid blanks.

Resolved Issues
The following issues have been resolved for the 2023.1 release:
- Fixed issue with Tool Force plots rendering as zero with mesh size of 2mm or less.
- Thinning heading in Publishing Report context is fixed and is included.
- Fixed callout points change positions for solid elements when re-entering Simulate context.
- Resolved issue with Construction History crashing on roll back/forward.
- Issue with Open/Closed position in tools when submitting job is fixed.
- Resolved Trimming stage fail for adaptive mesh trimming open trim lines.
- Fixed issue with the top binder in Sheet Hydroforming not applying the necessary force
