Aspen Technology aspenONE 8.2 Supplemental 2DVDs | 9.1 Gb

Aspen Technology, Inc., a leading provider of software and services to the process industries, kicked off OPTIMIZE 2013 with the launch of industry innovations for process manufacturing and significant enhancements to the company’s Engineering and Manufacturing and Supply Chain products.

Launched in front of more than 650 AspenTech customers, thought leaders, industry influencers, and process experts, from over 40 countries, the 8.2 release of aspenONE software features:

The new aspenONE. A new web-based user interface allows process industry professionals to work with aspenONE software anytime, anywhere. Working from one display, users can work with AspenTech products as easily as accessing a web page and with the simplicity of multi-touch gestures. Enterprises can now empower the broadest range of users to tap the power of AspenTech software – all without specialized product training or desktop installation.

aspenONE Exchange. The process industry’s first content marketplace provides a one-stop shop for engineers to source equipment data, third-party content, and AspenTech resources directly from Aspen Plus® and Aspen HYSYS® for faster, more accurate process design. Using aspenONE Exchange’s powerful search capability, engineers now have one location to search to find the right information at the right time to build more detailed models earlier in the design process. By providing content in aspenONE Exchange, equipment manufacturers and third-party developers can directly reach the industry’s largest cross section of process engineers.

Aspen PIMS Platinum. Aspen PIMS Platinum software provides refinery planners with an intuitive, web-based interface that allows planners to evaluate multiple scenarios quickly. Version 8.2 of Aspen PIMS Platinum adds the ability to run planning cases and modify data directly in flowsheet views to easily identify market opportunities. Planners can now visualize constraints, evaluate economics, and see the immediate impact of adjustments to the plan to make more profitable decisions.

Advances in aspenONE Engineering software. The latest product enhancements include expanded solids modeling capabilities in Aspen Plus software for specialty chemicals and agro-chemicals industries; new “Plant View” functionality to allow engineers to select specific real-time information and visualize how those plant variables have performed over time for better decision support and troubleshooting; and enhancements to Aspen Economic Evaluation software that allow engineers to ensure designs comply with API RP 14C safety requirements for more accurate economic evaluation of oil and gas assets from conceptual design to detailed cost estimation.

The installation procedure is largely the same in this release as it was in V8.0. The Aspen Engineering Installation Guide from V8.0 provides a general guide to the installation of the products. The installation process differs in the
following ways:
- New version V8.2 releases of following Engineering products appear on the Engineering product disk:
- Aspen Energy Analyzer
- Aspen Flare System Analyzer
- Aspen HYSYS
- Aspen OTS Framework
- Aspen Plus
- Aspen Properties
- Aspen Properties Enterprise Database
- Aspen Simulation Workbook
- Aspen Version Comparison Assistant (first added in V8.1)
In the Patches folder on the disk, updates to the following products are available. Each patch comes with its own release notes and should only be applied after the installation of the corresponding V8.0 product (V8.1 for aspenONE):
- aspenONE (V8.1 to V8.2)
- Aspen Utilities (V8.0 to V8.0.1)
- Aspen Basic Engineering (V8.0 to V8.0.2)
- Aspen Exchanger Design & Rating (V8.0 to V8.0.2)
- Aspen Economic Evaluation (V8.0 to V8.2)
A patch to update Aspen Batch Process Developer to version V8.0.1 is available from the Update Center on AspenTech's web site. Do not apply this patch on a machine on which other products have been updated to V8.0.1.

The supported platforms for this release are the same as in V8.0, with the addition of Windows 8 (64 bit only):
Desktop:
- Windows 8 Enterprise (64 bit)
- Windows 8 Professional (64 bit)
- Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 (32 and 64 bit)
- Windows 7 Professional SP1 (32 and 64 bit)
- Windows XP Professional Edition SP3 (32 bit)
Server:
- Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard SP2 (32-bit)
- Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise SP2 (32-bit)
- Windows Server 2008 Standard R2 (64-bit)

The new High Performance Trends feature of Plant View in Aspen Plus and HYSYS requires Internet Explorer 9, and is not supported on Windows XP.

The minimum SQL Server version required for Aspen Properties Enterprise Database (when LocalDB is not used) is now SQL Express 2005 SP4, and the recommended version is SQL Express 2008 R2 SP2.

Aspen OnLine, Aspen Online Deployment, and Aspen Solubility Modeler V8.0 do not interoperate with the version V8.2 products included on this disk, though they can co-exist with installations of those products. Continue using these products with version V8.0 products.

The APED databases installed with this version are called APV82, FACTV82, and NISTV82. Substitute these names for the older names in verification procedures in the V8.0 installation guide.

The version of Aspen OLI Interface is updated. See the Readme document

Recovery volumes or .rev files are special files which can be created by WinRAR/RAR and allow you to reconstruct missing and damaged files in a volume set. They can
only be used with multi-volume archives.

This feature may be useful for backups or, for example, when you post a multivolume archive to a newsgroup and some of the subscribers did not receive some files. Reposting recovery volumes instead of usual volumes may reduce the total number of files to repost.

Each recovery volume is able to reconstruct one missing RAR volume. For example, if you have 30 volumes and 3 recovery volumes, you are able to reconstruct any 3 missing volumes. If the number of .rev files is less than a number of missing volumes, reconstructing is impossible. The total number of usual and recovery volumes must not exceed 255 and the number of recovery volumes must be less than the number of RAR volumes.

WinRAR reconstructs missing and damaged volumes either when clicking on .rev file, or when using rc command or automatically, if it cannot locate the next volume and finds the required number of .rev files when unpacking.

You may use the "Recovery volumes" option in the Archive name and parameters dialog or a similar option also appears in the Protect archive command to create recovery volumes. In the command line mode you may do it with -rv switch or rv command.

Original copies of damaged volumes are renamed to *.bad before reconstruction. For example, volname.part03.rar will be renamed to volname.part03.rar.bad.

All parts on filepost.com, rapidgator.com, luckyshare.net interchanged. It is added by 5% of the overall size of the archive of information for the restoration and the volume for the restoration
