Autodesk has released AutoCAD Mechanical 2024.0.1 Toolset is a powerful extension to standard design and 2D drafting software with specialist functionality for the manufacturing, engineering, and mechanical design sectors and companies involved in digital prototyping workflows.

As a result of the detailed information that we received from customers who used the Customer Error Reporting Utility, we were able to identify and fix several defects including the following:

Mechanical standards
Mechanical standard is now retained when saving a drawing to a previous release format.
General Update
The following defects have been fixed:
Viewports
Dimensions for chamfer now respects scaling when the viewport is created by -VPORTS command.
Hole Chart
The degree symbol (°) in the hole chart for polar coordinates is now visible.
Structure
The side view of a shaft component is now generated accurately in mechanical structure.
Centerhole
More accurate hole placement using AMCENTERHOLE2D command.
