The Sigrity products development team is pleased to announce the availability of Sigrity and Systems Analysis 2021.1 HF2. The Sigrity products are basically divided into two categories: on the one hand the analysis of the power supply system (Power Integrity) and on the other hand the signal integrity considering the fluctuations of the current and voltage supply.

Celsius Thermal Solver Enhancements

T-Constraint Enhancements
(Enhanced) In the Solid Objects Simulation for Layered Structures module, you can now specify thermal constraints for vias, traces, planes, wirebonds, and leads. With these constraints in place, you can quickly identify the routing objects that violate the constraint criteria.
Thermal Probe Enhancements
(Enhanced) In the Solid Objects Simulation for Layered Structures module, in addition to adding probes on layout nodes, you can now add thermal probes on vias and traces to detect the temperature changes on these components.
Support for Stress Analysis
(New) You can now perform stress analysis to calculate the displacement that occurs on applying different loads on objects. You can also study the effect of temperature variations on the structural response of your design, by defining materials with nonlinear properties, such as, viscoplasticity, fatigue, and failure.
Discrete Component Import
(Enhanced) When you import a design from the Celsius Solid Objects Simulation for Layered Structures module into the Solid Objects Simulation for 3D Structures module, any discrete components added to the design are also imported. This discrete information is used while running electro-thermal co-simulation.
Voltus Thermal Model Enhancements
(Enhanced) The Fluid Flow Simulation module allows you to assign both terminals and Voltus Thermal Models (VTM) on the same object

Clarity 3D Solver Enhancements

Mesh Refinement Algorithm Improved
(Enhanced) The mesh refinement algorithm in Clarity 3D Solver has been improved such that the critical mesh element can now be identified efficiently resulting in a more robust mesh refinement process.
EM Field Display Enhanced
(Enhanced) The EM field display in Clarity 3D Solver has been enhanced as follows:
. A text field has been added that enables you to enter the exact coordinates of the cut plane where you want to view the EM fields.
. A new option Set 3d view options has been added that enables you to modify the colors of the field plots.

Before Cadece has taken Sigrity, the products were offered as stand alone solutions for the PCB layout software from Cadence, Mentor Graphics and Zuken. For Cadence users this technology has been combined into deeper integrated products and is now offered as scalable Allegro Sigrity solution. But the stand alone products still remain and are available for Allegro and OrCAD users, as well as SI and PI simulation solution for user of Mentor Graphics and Zuken.
