Collier Research Corporation has launched Hypersizer 7.3 is design, analysis, and optimization software for composite and metallic structures; it is used throughout the design process, including certification. Originally developed at NASA and successfully deployed throughout the aerospace industry, the software produces practical, manufacturable designs with composite laminates.
As Collier Research Corporation’s flagship product, HyperSizer performs design, stress analysis, and detail sizing optimization for aircraft and space launch vehicles fabricated with composite or traditional metallic materials. On average, the software reduces the weight of structures by 20-40%, an exceptional achievement for aerostructures. HyperSizer replaces the need for spreadsheets and “hand calculations” with automatically generated stress reports for FAA certification. HyperSizer customers are able to produce results faster and more accurately, giving them an edge over competitors.

- A 32 bit or 64 bit operating system is required.
- Minimum of 5 GB of free hard drive space is recommended; 1 GB for program files and 4 GB for data and software operation. User data can reside on a separate disk from the installation program files.
Graphics Requirements
- Video resolution minimum requirement is 1920x1080 (1080p) with medium fonts. Lower resolutions will require scrolling to see all data inputs.
- The graphics perform best when running in hardware mode with a high-end, recently purchased graphics card.
- Large monitor (19 or 21 inch) is preferred.
