Diamond Cut Live Forensics 7 is the professional Forensic version of DC7. It includes everything that DC7 has plus a suite of Forensics specific tools optimized for voice extraction from survilence tapes, video tapes and other badly corrupted sources


Here are the features unique to DCLive6/Forensics:
•Flashback mode. Rewind live conversations without missing a byte. You can step back in time to re-hear a critical piece of audio while still logging the live audio to disk. Just the thing for live surveillance applications.
•Live Log to disk of both input (unprocessed) and Output (Processed) audio.
•Adaptive Frequency Domain Spectral Filter. A special forensics mode adaptive filter for voice recordings.
•Time domain adaptive filter with coefficient display. Fine tune the adaptive filter with a new visual display of the filter coefficients.
•Dynamic Spectral Subtraction filter (DSS) for extreme voice extraction situations - meaning that it has the ability to attenuate unwanted music or speech from a recording even if the music is louder than the voice.
•Spectral filter with thousands of bands of EQ. Create dramatic EQ profiles not possible with parametric or simple EQ's. (128 to 32,000 bands)
•High Resolution Spectrograph display. View and print spectrographs for voiceprint analysis and audio event identification. Also serves a great diagnostic tool for evaluating audio problems
•30 Band Graphic EQ for more precise adjustments, with the ease of use of a graphic. Includes 30 new presets.
•The Adaptive filter has been re-engineered to have much better performance and a wider range of adjustment than any previous version. We added a Normalized Least Mean Squared Option (NLMS) for extreme and variable random noise reduction situations.
•Polynomial filter. Mathematically create the exact transfer function you need. Expansion, compression, square, and other nonlinear functions not possible with traditional filters. You can create the functions either graphically or type in you own equation,
•X-Y Display with an Averaging Angle display and numerical readout. Useful for tape alignment and specialized forensic applications.
•Live VOX recording with timestamp feature. Automatically stamps the start times of Voice Activated recordings (VOX) for long term surveillance work.
•User Sizable Spectrum Analyzer for higher resolution printing and display. Left and Right channels can be displayed individually.
•Random Impulse Creation Generator Presets in the Multifilter.
