Easy Motion Control è un pacchetto di blocchi funzionali standard, con cui è possibile eseguire il posizionamento o il sincronismo di assi. Easy Motion Control può funzionare su tutte le CPU SIMATIC a partire dalla CPU 314 ed anche su WinAC, inoltre è possibile leggere valori istantanei ed emettere setpoint, mediante un’ampia scelta di unità di periferia. La versione V2.0 contiene, tra l’altro, l’adattamento dei blocchi funzionali a PLCopen V1.0, altri driver (Micromaster 4, CPU 314C) ed anche sincronismi semplici e supporto al modo di funzionamento sincrono.

Easy Motion Control is a package of standard function blocks with which single axes can be used for closed-loop position control or for geared synchronous motion. Easy Motion Control will run on all SIMATIC CPUs from CPU 314 onwards, as well as on WinAC.
A wide range of I/O modules is available to read the actual values and to output the reference values. Some of the new features of version V2.0 are: Adaptation of the function blocks to PLCopen V1.0, additional driver blocks (Micromaster 4, CPU 314C), simple geared synchronous motion and the support of isochrone mode.
