InnovMetric PolyWorks 2017 IR4

InnovMetric Software Inc., a leading provider of universal 3D metrology software solutions, has announced the launch of PolyWorks 2017 IR4, the latest release of the company’s universal 3D metrology software platform.

Intermediate Release 4:

General
- The Chinese, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, and Spanish dictionaries have been updated.
- PolyWorks 2017 IR4 introduces two enhancements that will be major benefits to users of the Macro Script
Command Language:
. The MACRO EXEC command now supports output arguments, allowing invoked macro scripts to return
values to the invoking macro script. Output arguments are set in the invoked script using the MACRO
OUTPUT_ARGUMENT macro command.
. A new ELSEIF statement has been added to the macro script language. The ELSEIF statement must be
followed by a conditional expression, identical to the IF statement. Any number of ELSEIF statements can
be placed between IF and ENDIF statements.
- Fixed issues:
. Issues have been fixed with the IGES and STEP CAD model importers.
. When using the Help button (?) of dialog boxes, the PDF documentation is opened to the correct section
for Adobe Reader DC users.
