NI is now part of Emerson's new Test & Measurement business group has released NI Linux Real-Time Offline Installation Support 2025 Q1 is utility software that helps you install NI drivers on NI Linux Real-Time targets when the host PC or target does not have access to ni.com or other published feeds.
The NI Linux RT System Image is utility software that includes the system image required for formatting and provisioning most NI real-time controllers to run the NI Linux Real-Time OS. It is required to update the system image to install the latest drivers to your NI real-time controller.
Note: The NI Linux RT System Image is required to run the NI Linux Real-Time OS on most NI real-time controllers.
NI Linux Real-Time Offline Installation Support contains a package repository of all the packages located on the ni.com feed specific to the user-specified release version. The software package repository installer and offline installation support allows you to install software packages onto your Linux Real-Time targets when the target and host PC are in a secure environment that cannot access ni.com.
Note: The NI Linux Real-Time Offline Installation Support provides offline access to drivers for NI Linux Real-Time targets.
