Nemetschek SCIA Engineer 2019 version 19.1.4033 | 3.0 Gb

SCIA part of the Nemetschek Group has launched SCIA Engineer 2019 version 19.1.4033. This release brings multiple workflow improvements as well as many new functionalities that will help you handle the analysis of multi-storey buildings and other civil engineering structures with minimum effort while simultaneously increasing the overall efficiency of standard day-to-day tasks.

- Aluminium: The bending check has been corrected to do this only in the presence of a longitudinal weld as specified in table 6.4 of EN 1999-1-1.
- Aluminiun: Certain cross-section fabrication types (Concrete/ Timber / Extrusion / Drawn / Forged) where not displayed in the detailed output of the aluminium check. This has been resolved.
- Analysis: For seismic load cases with zero factor there is an error message before calculation starts.
- Calculation : Fixed problem with eccentricity of 2D members in nonlinear calculations.
- Calculation: Fix of numerical issue in calculation with nonlinear functions.
- Calculation: New check before calculation on not compatible functionalities with plastic materials.
- Composites: Issue with wrong variable h_wt in calculation of z_b in opening check is fixed.
- Composites: issue, where composites design on primary beams with segments and subsegments ends with unspecified error in execution, is fixed.
- Concrete: display error EWN items - stopping the 2D reinforcement design - in standard/detailed output
- Concrete: fixed calculation of concrete design strength to respect individually type of combination (persistant/accidental) in envelope result class.
- Concrete: fixed considering of user 2D reinforcement in right direction of designed reinforcement when LCS of the member is rotated.
- Concrete: fixed considering of user 2D reinforcement in right direction of designed reinforcement when LCS of the member is rotated.
- Concrete: fixed estimation of height of compression zone in the calculation of 2D design forces for specific case of predominant compression state
- Concrete: fixed estimation of inner lever arm in 2D reinf. design for the case of predominant compression state (nEd < nc,bal)
- Concrete: fixed generation of detailed output for specific case of ULS+SLS 2d reinforcement design
- Concrete: fixed incorrect recalculation of user reinforcement in 2D design for member with rotated LCS which was originaly neglected.
- Concrete: In reinforcement design for columns. The minimal reinforcement area from ratio (chapter 9.5.2(2)) is now taken uniformly to all edges, if there is no statically required reinforcement from design.
- Concrete: The issue with error in reinforcement design on result class containing persistent and accidental combinations together is fixed. Result classes can be now designed properly.
- Concrete: The minimal allowed diameter for additional reinforcement 2D is 4 mm. It is not possible to add 0 mm anymore.
- Cross-section: Added a warning in case the user tries to add a thin-walled rectangle from the Profile Library into a General Cross-Section.
- Dynamics: fixed crash in seismic load cases with mode filtering and large number of modes
- Engineering report: fixed accidental crash
- GUI: fixed type in snap error message.
- Loads: Rare issue with export of free line load was fixed
- Modeling: Improved behavior of initial deformation dialog.
- Modelling: A cosmetic issue in which the input box within the 3D-line grid doesn't have a locked position when stretching the dialog dimension has been fixed. SJAS-BPKHP4
- Modelling: enabled setting of 1D/2D stiffness factors to zero
- Modelling: Improvement of the of the message for case when duplicity of nodes is found but could not be removed by Check structure data automatically due to connection to another entities.
- Results : Fix in orientation of internal forces on integration member in 2D space models.
- Results: fixed displaying of reactions on line support applied on beam where a hinge is present in some end
- Results: fixed displaying of reactions on line support applied on beam where a hinge is present in some end
- Results: fixed displaying of results in foundation table for seismic cases in PPE 'default'
- Results: fixed displaying of results in foundation table for seismic cases in PPE 'default'
- Results: fixed evaluation of internal forces on ribs with effective width overlapping somehow the slab boundary.
- Results: fixed evaluation of internal forces on ribs with effective width overlapping somehow the slab boundary.
- Results: Fixed problem with nonlinear supports.
- Results: Fixed seismic results in foundation table.
- Results: Issue with openings in C-sections not always going through the entire web even though it seemed so visually is fixed.
- Solver: Improve of convergence of nonlinear analysis with surface support on surface.
- Solver: Issue with solver dialog appearing in front each time is fixed.
- Steel: Recalculation of model if steel connection with "update stiffness" property ON is in the model.
- Timber: Issue in effective length calculation (table 6.1 of EN1995-1-1) which allowed negative effective length values causing a negative My,crit and therefore a 999 unity check. Formula for Lef has been improved by means of Lef = Max(0,"current formula").
