PTC has released Creo illustrate 11.0.0.0. With this solution, you can create rich 3D technical illustrations, 2D drawings, and interactive animated sequences that accurately reflect current product configurations and support formats from hard copy to augmented reality.

New Options for Insets
Description: Three new options have been added to insets: Captions, which allow you to display a label or title for an inset, and Fixed Size and Fixed Scale, which enable more consistent sizing or scaling across all insets.
Ability to Modify 2D Elements
Description: Users can now rotate, modify by adding or removing control handles, and convert 2D elements such as change from line to Béziers, rectangle to line, etc.
Support for Layers and Groups in 2D Figures
Description: 2D figures now feature layers and groups, which are automatically generated when collapsing from 3D. Additionally, users now have the ability to manually create and edit layers and groups within the 2D figure.
Benefits: Better organization of 2D figure content.
Ability to Copy Transforms Between Parts
Description: You can now copy movements already applied to a part to other parts.
Enhanced Admin Tool Features for Centrally Managing Standards
Description: The admin tool now has improved tools for sharing and updating standards from shared network folders and Windchill.
Benefits: Easier to centrally manage and update standards.
Recipe Files Prepopulated in New Installations
Description: New installations of Creo Illustrate now have three recipe files prepopulated in the out of the box standard.
Benefits: Users will no longer need to search for the recipe files shipped with Creo Illustrate to use them.
Support for Text Styling for in Figure Text Content
Description: You can now add font styling to text within a figure, including bold, italic and bulleted lists.
Benefits: The ability to include bold and italic font styles, as well as bulleted lists, in callouts, notes, etc.
