SILKYPIX Developer Studio Pro 8.0.5.0 Mac OS X

SILKYPIX Developer Studio Pro 8.0.5.0 | MacOSX | 301.1 MB

SILKYPIX Developer Studio Pro 8 adds “clarity” that enhances the texture with its own image processing technology. In addition, the correction functions such as adding a brush function to the partial correction tool has been enhanced. This product is RAW development software for professionals.

SILKYPIX allows you to make adjustments such as exposure (brightness), white balance (shading), tone (light and dark sharpness) while maintaining a high quality of image without deteriorating the image. In addition, anyone can easily perform high-quality adjustments because basic adjustments are arranged in order from the top of the control panel. Furthermore, fine tuning adjustments for each item can be minutely performed with the “Slider” control.

A Variety of Functions to Recreate the Photographer’s Images
The Partial correction function is included to adjust saturation and brightness of specified areas. In addition, the newly adopted Brush in SILKYPIX Pro8 can be used to designate areas for partial correction more freely than ever.
What is more, a variety of fine adjustment functions such as Fine color controller which can be used to adjust each specific color and Highlight controller which restores colors in highlighted parts as well as recover gradation are available.

Easy Editing with Tastes
SILKYPIX Pro8 has 10 types of maker tastes installed which can take on various shooting scenes in advance. Just by choosing a taste such as “Landscape” or “Portrait,” you can make a finished photograph easily that fits your image.
In addition, you can save your adjusted parameters as a taste. Parameters are very useful functions, and you can easily create pictures from the same image by applying them to other photographs.

Compliable with JPEG and TIFF
With “SILKYPIX RAW Bridge” available only on SILKYPIX Pro8, JPEGs and TIFFs are expanded to 16 bits, so even JPEG and TIFF images can be adjusted to a high degree of image quality with less image degradation.

The partial correction tool for correcting the designated area
In the preview window you can correct below items to the designated circle or oval area.
[Hue] – [Saturation] – [Lightness] – [Contrast] – [White balance].

Gradual correction filter
In the preview window you can correct below items to the designated graduation area.
[Hue] – [Saturation] – [Lightness] – [Contrast] – [White balance]
You can use the gradated correction filter like as a half-ND filter by changing the exposure in the horizon or horizontal line.

Improved gradation on highlighting
In the highlight or high saturation part the limit of overexposure has increased and rich gradation has been realized.
– The deviation of the hue in highlight (color fall over) has been suppressed as usual.
– The color connect in the overexposed portions and the vicinity of contour part where the gradation remains has been improved.

Improved highlight recovery during the exposure desensitization processing
In the initial status RAW data also have the information of color and tone even in the overexposure area. It will be restored by exposing the dark correction during RAW development (desensitization). In SILKYPIX Developer Studio Pro7, when you correct to underexposure, you can increase the amount that can be restored overexposure and expand the range that can be desensitized.

New type sharpness (Natural sharp)
New type sharpness (Natural sharp) which improve the descriptive power of details significantly is obtained. It improves the resolution with reducing the side effects of sharpness “Pseudo outline” which borders the outline.
And, newly “Bokeh preservation” has been obtained. It reduces the side effects that blur becomes unnatural in out-of-focus parts when the sharpness is strengthened or the noise is emphasized.

New type sharpness (Natural sharp)
L channel has been added to the tone curve. By correcting the tone with general RGB composite tone curve, color along with the brightness will also change. Because you can adjust only the tone of brightness with the L Tone Curve, color omissions are decreased, as are changed in chroma, for example even when using high key or high contrast. At a portrait or macro photography of flowers having a lot of blur, you can achieve both of soft and vivid expression that have not been done before.
