Download Instructions: Dutty's version 3.19 (ripped from a T-Mobile HD2) that's floating around will not work without changing the device's Model Name – which effectively cripples said device. I cracked this version to do away with this limitation so it should work on any WM device with a (W)VGA touch screen.

As this can be considered a "retail" release, due credit goes to the supplier of the original uncracked CAB (Dutty?). This will not be a ShareFree release for this very reason.

Installation Instructions:

WARNING: Ignore at your own risk!

If you already have Swype installed, completely uninstall it before installing this new version (Use SKTools' "Installed Programs" applet to uninstall; this ensures any remnants are wiped clean).

If you can afford it, it is highly recommended to install to Main Memory and not Storage Card.

If you have configured your device according to my tutorial (2nd post) below and currently have Swype set as the default SIP, you need to set another SIP as default before uninstalling Swype. Just set the default keyboard or something else and soft-reset. THEN uninstall Swype (soft-reset again if prompted) and install this new package.

After installation, you can set Swype as the default SIP if you prefer, and soft-reset a final time to complete the process.
