Loader Updates
  • The OpenFOAM loader is much improved.
  • The EnSight loader now has the ability to load CONVERGE data. Memory usage has been reduced for data nearing the 32-bit integer limit, and a fix was implemented when loading particle zones.
  • VTK loader PVTU piece merging into a single zone was fixed.
  • SZL Server had various fixes.

Slicing and Isosurfaces
  • The original mesh of the source zone is preserved when slicing or creating an isosurface using the new “All Polygons” option of the Surface Generation Method.
  • A new “Auto” setting for the Surface Generation Method selects the option best suited for the zones participating in the slice or isosurface generation.

XY Curve Fits
  • Extended Curve Fits are available in the Mapping Style dialog and line context menus, including Akima Spline, General Curve Fit, and Stineman Interpolation.
  • The Curve Fit Settings dialogs received an Update button to apply the setting changes without dropping the dialog.

PyTecplot Updates
  • Probe-on-surface function to query nearest locations on surfaces zones.
