The Catalyst File Transfer control enables developers to easily integrate file transfer functionality within their applications. Available as either a managed .NET class or an ActiveX control, the File Transfer component implements the standard FTP and HTTP protocols for sending and receiving files over the Internet, and can be used in a wide variety of programming languages. The component supports both standard and secure connections using the SSL and TLS protocols, and security features can be enabled by setting a single property value. Designed specifically for rapid application development, a single component provides a flexible, simplified interface without requiring that the developer use several controls and write additional code to integrate them.
