SecureCRT software combines the secure login and data transfer capabilities of Secure Shell (SSH) with the reliability, usability and configurability of a proven Windows terminal emulator.

SecureCRT gives you an encrypted Secure Shell (SSH1 and SSH2) session with servers and devices. For SSH, Telnet, Telnet/SSL, and other protocols, SecureCRT's tabbed sessions reduce desktop clutter and make it easy to switch between sessions and organize groups of connected sessions. Extensive session management and customization features include named sessions, and multiple-session windows. Choose from a wide range of emulations including VT100, VT102, VT220, ANSI, SCO ANSI, Wyse 50/60, Xterm, and Linux console. SecureCRT can help you save valuable time by automating routine configuration tasks with powerful scripting capabilities.

SecureCRT 6.0 delivers new time-saving features including support for moving tabs between windows and a button bar that allows you to map frequently used commands, scripts, and menu functions. An updated user interface provides alpha transparency, Windows display themes, and drag-and-drop customization of the menu and toolbar. Support for installation on U3 smart drives has been added, along with a combined installer for SecureCRT and SecureFX®, and MSI support to simplify and automate distribution and installation.

    Changes:

    - SSH2: In the session .INI file, if the GEX Preferred Size was
set to 2046, it will be changed to 2048 in order to be compatible
with Cisco IOS 12.4 or later.

    Bug fixes:

    - If a script was specified on the command line, SecureCRT was
in a hung state after the script executed.
    - With ANSI color enabled, if a color escape sequence was
received, only the portion of the row that contained characters
    was correctly displayed.
    - SSH2: In an SFTP tab, if the connection was lost and a put
    command was issued, SecureCRT crashed.
