VShell Secure Shell server replaces Telnet and FTP in your IT infrastructure to address your evolving needs for secure network administration and end-user access on Windows and UNIX platforms. Armed with strong encryption, trusted authentication, and data integrity, you can confidently exchange electronic data over public networks. Access control lists (ACLs) and SFTP virtual directories equip administrators with fine-grained control to comply with internal and external security policies. "Triggers" can automate routine tasks, freeing valuable time for network professionals.

    New for VShell 3.0 :

    * New triggers: Added triggers for Login, Logout, File Rename, File Delete, Folder Create, Folder Rename, and Folder Delete events to increase monitoring and automation capability.
    * SCP transfer support: VShell's SCP support is built in (not a separate executable) and honors the settings for logging, access control lists (ACLs), and SFTP roots.
    * Configuration export (Windows): Import and export VShell configuration using VShellConfig. Enables the administrator to quickly make backups of existing configurations and to move configurations to different machines.
    * Native 64-bit (x64) version for Microsoft Windows: The native 64-bit (x64) version of VShell server provides full support for public-key-only authentication.
    * Multiple host key support: One host key per algorithm type can be used.
    * "Listen Addresses" Control Panel page: Listen Addresses provides the ability to manage a list of IP addresses and ports that VShell will listen on.
    * Control Panel setting for maximum connections (Windows): Adding this option to the Control Panel makes it easier to limit the number of concurrent times a user can log on to VShell.
