AVL is pleased to announce the new release AVL Simulation Software Release 2024 R2. Our team of experts worked tiredlessly to develop unique solutions – customer challenges and feedback were taken into account in this new software release.

While the whole world is talking about artificial intelligence, machine learning and neural networks, we have been working on solutions based on these technologies already quite some time. We are delighted to introduce our first version of a generative AI-powered support assistant called ChatSDT. Built on GPT-4 and enriched with AVL’s data and engineering expertise, ChatSDT will guide you through complex modeling and parametrization task – making your work faster and more efficient than ever.

AVL Simulation Software is a comprehensive simulation solution that you can use throughout the entire development process: from conceptual design to overall system design, development of individual components and their integration into the system, and validation.The simulation solutions are based on extensive knowledge and cover all aspects of vehicle development – irrespective of the vehicle type, propulsion type, or level of automation.
Company AVL offers a comprehensive set of simulation software for engine design in its AVL Workspace product. The suite incorporates software to simulate timing drives, hydraulic systems and gas flow in combustion chambers. It also includes AVL Excite, a software tool for simulation of vibration, fatigue and acoustic phenomena in power units. Its primary field of applica- tion is simulation of crankshaft dynamics, engine acoustics and performing thermo-elastohydrodynamic bearing calculations. To aid in the analysis of the vast amount of data resulting from the simulation AVL Workspace offers two applications. AVL Impress Chart can present traditional 2D charts and diagrams, while AVL Impress is an interactive 3D visualization application. Both applications can process data from various simulators of the AVL Workspace.
