ABSTRUNG is a double engine themed rompler, geared towards stringed instruments types of sounds. But it hides a powerful randomiser engine, a twin step sequencer, a “Trails layer” which adds motion to each patch and the brand new.

ABSTRUNG comes with 155 sound sources loadable in 2 different slots, plus 20 Trails. Each sound source is multisampled and comes with 3 round robins FOR A TOTAL OF OVER 20GB NCW COMPRESSED (4 times the size of Vesper). Audiofier's new "intelligent" RANDOMISERS SERIES makes it incredibly easy to create new sounds quickly and makes presets redundant. It also possible to recall past randomisations and go back and forth in the randomisation history, also recalling past randomisations on the fly. Permanent random generated sequences and temporary random sequences spice up stale and repetitive phrases.

In common with the whole Randomisers Series, Abstrung hosts the new Crystals Generator, a special delay generator whose repetitions can be pitched in different ways. In addition to that, the delay line can be filtered, and blurred with the Cloud filter. Grains can be more or less pronunced to one’s taste. The repetitions can also be effected by distortion, phaser and an additional delay. But it’s not all, the delay repetition can also be a totally different sound source from the ones that make up the main patch. Crystals can also be harmonised in triads, fifths, suspended or can be generated randomly for a total inspiring sound creation!
