NI DIAdem 2022 Q4 (22.8.0) | 974.0 mb
National Instruments is pleased to announce the availability of DIAdem 2022 Q4 (22.8.0), the tool of software designed specifically so that engineers and scientists are more efficient when locating, inspect, analyse and inform on the data of measure.
New Features in DIAdem 2022 Q4 (22.8.0) - Date: October 2022
DIAdem NAVIGATOR, DataFinder, Data Portal
- In a script, you can use the new property Navigator.Display.CurrDataFinder.Browser.OnlyShowSearchAreas to show or hide the display of the local file system in the NAVIGATOR file browser.
DIAdem VIEW
- Comparable to the 2D axis system, the contour display now contains the start time stamp as a complete date label on the X or Y axis if the X channel or the Y channel is a time channel.
DIAdem REPORT
- The function group bar has been extended with new categories for 3D axis systems and characteristic diagrams, which are each offered for triple and matrix data. You can select your desired display type from these bars, which is preset for the selected axis system: surface, 3D curve, 4D-6D, bars, waterfall, 2D matrix, characteristic diagram with labels, measuring points, hyperbolas or even a differential characteristic diagram.
DIAdem ANALYSIS
- For frequency weighting (A, B, C filtering), a time weighting can be specified if required and the result calculated in dB.
DIAdem SCRIPT
- The picture of the SUD Picture control in a user dialog can be proportionally reduced or enlarged in size.
- The DIAdem Python environment also supports Python version 3.10 (64-bit).
- User commands now support Python. You can use the user commands in Python and VBS scripts and for events, or call them in user dialogs.
- Python functions can now be used in DIAdem expressions enclosed in @@.
- The PythonEvaluate command (short form: PyEval) can be used to evaluate Python expressions in VBScript.
Preview Features
Preview features give an outlook on features in future versions. The functions to be unlocked are still under development and the user interface, the API, or the scope of functions may change. Enable this function in the Settings»DIAdem Settings» Preview Features dialog box.
- DIAdem supports complex channels. You can load and save complex channels. You can convert numeric channels to complex channels and vice versa.
1870153 ANALYSIS - In high resolution time stamp mode the offset correction function shows incorrect year values for time channels.
Workaround:Use the time channels in place (source channel = result channel) when using the offset correction function. To do this, copy the time channel and parameterize it as source and result channel for the ChnOffset() and for the ChnLinScale() function.
1908860 REPORT - Table object: An error message may occur in the settings dialog when adding an expression to a table with channel columns.
Workaround:There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
1915544 VIEW - Deleting an area may cause an access violation if the area to be deleted is not the active area.
Workaround:Set the area to be deleted active before deleting this area.
1917273 ANALYSIS - The preview in the crash resultant dialog does not correctly display input channels with XY relationship.
Workaround:There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
1963286 REPORT - Table object: Some entries for headers and footers of a 2D table are not accessible in the settings dialog.
Workaround:The issue can be solved by adding a channel column to the 2D table and setting everything to "Free text", which enabling edit the values. After that, the previously created additional channel column can be deleted again.
1981665 REPORT - Table object: The entries of the free headers/footers texts are no longer accessible when changing a channel column with individual headers/footers to another type.
Workaround:There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
1983085 ANALYSIS - The FFT dialogs may show an error message and will not open if you have channels with commas in the channel names.
Workaround:You can a) call the affected FFT functions by script or b) rename the channels with commas in the name.
2059441 REPORT - 3D axis: The colors of the projection of a 3D curve onto the XY plane are not applied correctly when using a color palette.
Workaround:There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
2059829 ANALYSIS - The ChnEventCreateXYChannels() function creates incorrect XY relations when applied to the result of an event search with multiple events.
Workaround:Call the ChnEventCreateXYChannels() function for each event stored in the result array individually, instead of calling the function once with the entire result array.
2130877 REPORT - The predefined settings of the Spider Axis Systems in the left toolbar cannot be changed.
Workaround:There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
2058428 ANALYSIS - The ChnResampleChnBased() function creates a wrong XY relationship for the result channels.
Workaround:There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
2061770 REPORT - Characteristic Diagrams do not work with logarithmic X- and Y-axes.
Workaround:Changing the angle of view on the XY plane very slightly from 90° to 89.999° and the characteristic diagram is displayed correctly.
Workaround:Use the time channels in place (source channel = result channel) when using the offset correction function. To do this, copy the time channel and parameterize it as source and result channel for the ChnOffset() and for the ChnLinScale() function.
