The software developer National Instruments is pleased to announce the availability of Vision Software Suite 2021 (Spring 2021). This suite includes LabVIEW and recommended software for developing machine vision systems.

LabVIEW
LabVIEW is a graphical programming environment engineers use to develop automated research, validation, and production test systems.
Vision Development Module
The Vision Development Module helps you develop software for machine vision and image processing applications. You can use it with the LabVIEW graphical programming environment, C, C++, and C# for Windows systems and LabVIEW for real-time systems. Choose from hundreds of image processing algorithms including filters, morphologies, pattern matching, and classification. The module includes IP for targeting both processors and FPGAs and features model importers for performing inference using deep learning models developed in TensorFlow.
Vision Builder AI
Vision Builder AI is application software that helps you rapidly develop and deploy machine vision inspection systems. Using menu-driven development tools, you can configure cameras, customize image processing from hundreds of algorithms and inspection steps, interface with automation hardware, and generate inspection results.

The Vision Software Suite combines the Vision Development Module, Vision Builder AI, LabVIEW Professional, and LabVIEW NXG. This suite helps you perform image analysis and processing from GigE, USB3, and Camera Link cameras. You can use powerful tools like pattern matching, metrology, OCR, and more to automatically inspect and monitor products and processes. You can also choose your development workflow by programming in LabVIEW with the Vision Development Module, using menu-driven algorithm development in the Vision Builder AI, or a combination of both, which can help you develop without programming.
