Foxy is a content filtering HTTP proxy server. It can modify content on the fly using its internal filters and external user-written scripts, block access to undesirable resources, track users' online activity, generate traffic reports, forward requests to multiple proxies depending on the requested URL.
Foxy may be used as is, with no changes to the default configuration, but to fully leverage its potential some basic understanding of HTML language and HTTP protocol may be needed.
May run on the same machine as your browser or as a server serving multiple clients.
Does not limit the number of users using the server.
Can also be used as a simple HTTP server serving static content.
Browser-based user interface; works with any browser running on any platform.
Supports both HTTP/1.0 and HTTP/1.1.
User authentication and IP address allow/deny lists for users and administrators.
Does not filter HTTPS (you don't want your secure data to be altered in any way).
CONNECT tunneling is disabled for security reasons.
