After attending drama college and gaining some performing experience with the Patchwork Youth Theatre Group in Glasgow, Tiffany's first major screen role came in 2001 in the BBC children's series Stacey Stone. She joined Hollyoaks in 2003. She originally auditioned for the role of Roxy in Hollyoaks, but was turned down. Two weeks after her audition, she received a call from Mersey TV - who make Hollyoaks - to tell her that she didn't get the part of Roxy, but that they were going to write a part specially for her. The character was Natalie Osborne, who was a series regular in 2003, but has since left the show in 2004.
