Intended for beginning-level young adult and adult students of English as a Second Language, this innovative text combines the elements of a successful reading program with a unique, developmental format designed to teach a wide range of reading skills. The four sections of "Reading Power" are designed to be used concurrently. Each focuses on a different aspect of reading: "Reading for Pleasure" - This section stresses independent reading by suggesting a variety of ways to choose books and also offers a list of high-interest readers for students to enjoy.
