Henry Pulling, a retired bank manager, meets his old aunt for the first time in over 50 years. She persuades him to travel with her. And he embarks on a journey around the world with his elderly yet adventurous aunt, visiting locations such as Paris and Paraguay, mixing with hippies, war criminals and CIA Agents - coming alive after a dull suburban lifetime. The principal character (Henry Pulling) is the first-person narrator - but he also provides the voices of all the other parts except his Aunt Augusta (superbly rendered by Anna Massey). Ten episodes of approx fifteen minutes each.
