SECTION 3: UPCOMING CUTTING-EDGE INNOVATIONS: What is the future of glioblastoma treatment? Direct access to the tumor is a big challenge for oncologists and neurosurgeons, and most drugs do not reach the tumor. One of the ways to overcome this inaccessibility is to maximize local drug delivery to the tumor. Six chapters of this section, describing innovative techniques to maximize access to therapeutic deliveries, if translated successfully, could create a paradigm shift in the treatment of glioblastoma.
