Integrator apps allow you to combine functions from one app to another. For example, you can connect a phone system to your existing Client Relationship Manager (CRM) without buying another CRM with the same features. Or you can connect your Twitter to another app and receive Twitter notifications on topics of interest in your browser. You can even connect your Gmail to your CRM to automatically log in leads/client cards, etc. The possibilities are nearly endless and limited only by imagination and software limits. Thus, integrator apps extend CRM functionality without purchase of an entire new CRM system (though you may have to buy another app).

Search Engine Optimisation, or SEO is when a website "comes on top" a search on a search engine like Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.

Traditionally, SEO looks for keywords and if there is enough keywords, the website comes to the top of the search.

There are many, many companies selling SEO services, many of them design your website too. They promise a lot whilst demanding expensive payments like US$100 a month, etc. These services are not cheap. If you ask me, would I buy SEO services? My answer is probably not. The SEO industry is an overpriced racket where most people, including the Indian companies that ring you all the time, cannot deliver. There may be some who are good and do deliver, but most are terrible.

Why is this so?
SEO has gone a long way, and Google - or any other search engine for that matter are not dumb.

They can eventually see through your keyword stuffing antics and demote your site.

By talking to people who actually know about SEO and Social Media, I learned there is only one principle for SEO success. That is it. Keywords are still important, but this one principle cannot be avoided and is the sole reason that SEO companies can only help so much without racking huge bills.

It is hoped that this edition will teach you fundamental principles for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and empower you to do it yourself rather than succumb to the sweet promises of online conmen.
