Hello guys, Dino here welcome to another Blender course. To all Futurama fans, we are going to be modeling and rigging a famous crazy robot called Bender. He is one of the main characters in the animated television series Futurama. Bender often exhibits sociopathic behavior; he is a pathological liar and rarely shows any empathy. I made this course about half a year ago but it's worth sharing.

We are going to start our character creation by modeling Bender's body, we will be using basic modifiers and mashes for the modeling part. Once we finish modeling Bender's body we will hop on right away to the materials where we will add basic materials with some adjustments.

After we apply the materials to the body we will then rig or character and prepare it for animation. We will firstly make a pose to our Bender with a bottle of beer because that is his favorite drink, then we will add lights and a camera to the scene and it will be ready for rendering. At the end of the course, I will show you how to animate Bender in a walking cycle and we will make a small animation of him walking.

This course is mainly for beginners, but if you are an advanced 3D artist it can help you find inspiration for your portfolio. So let's begin and I will see you in the first video.
