artificial Intelligence has long dominated our lives without many being aware of it. Smartphones that talk to us, wristwatches that record our health data, work processes that organize themselves automatically, cars, planes and drones that control themselves, traffic and energy systems with autonomous logistics or robots that explore distant planets technical examples of a networked world of intelligence systems. They show us how our everyday life is determined by the functions of AI.Biological organisms are also examples of intelligent systems that, like humans, have evolved and can solve problems more or less independently efficiently. Occasionally, nature is a model for technical developments. However, computer science and engineering often find different and even better and more efficient solutions than those found in nature. Therefore, there is no “the” intelligence, but degrees of efficient and automated problem solving that can be accomplished by technical or natural systems. Behind this is the world of adaptive algorithms that work withell increasing computing power (according to Moore's law) become more and more powerful. They control the processes of a networked world in the Internet of Things. Without them, the flood of data generated by billions of networked sensors and devices could not be managed. Research and medicine are also increasingly using smart algorithms to discover new laws and insights in a growing flood of measurement data.Since its inception, AI research has been associated with grand visions of humanity's future. Solve “artificial intelligence”people? Some are already talking about an upcoming “super intelligence” that will unleash fears and hopes. This book is a call to technology design: AI must prove to be a service to society.Since my studies, I have been fascinated by the algorithms that make artificial intelligence possible. You need to know its fundamentals to be able to assess its benefits and limitations. Surprisingly, and this is one of the main insights of this book, even the fastest supercomputers do not change the logical-mathematical foundations that have been proven by human intelligence. It is only on the basis of this knowledge that social impacts can be assessed.now i wish you happy reading !!
