The book is devoted to the battles taking place on all fronts of World War II. Europe, Africa and the Pacific. The events are sorted chronologically, with battles covering more than one year sorted by the date of the beginning of the first fighting. The reasons for the outbreak of World War II are very diverse, especially when one considers the ambiguity in determining the time range of the conflict. They will look different in the case of a clash on the Asian front, and differently in the case of Europe. Nevertheless, some common trends can be identified that appear regardless of the geographical area.
Post-war revisionism, military imperialism, border conflicts, the emergence of criminal ideologies, and finally the social factor, which largely depended on economic prosperity and economic collapse, come to the fore. World War II was the biggest conflict in the history of mankind. The total number of victims is estimated at over 60 million people, and the data is not verifiable in view of the scale of destruction and the enormity of war crimes.
