Coloring isn't just for kids. Teens and adults enjoy coloring too! In this class, you will learn to color digitally on your iPad in the Procreate App. Coloring digitally is such a fun way to increase the color and decrease the stress in our lives by putting a modern twist on this much-loved creative hobby. AND it requires very few materials!
This class is for you if:
You find coloring traditionally with pencils or markers to be a little intimidating for fear of messing up. Or you want to be able to predict what your coloring page will look like before you begin. (color a page digitally first before putting pencil to paper to preview your color palette!)
You would love to be able to color while sitting on your couch and watching a show… But you don't want to drag out all the materials and sit at the table. Again, this is your answer. Digital coloring to the self-care rescue! (Or maybe you want to be able to color on-the-go more easily!)
You love the Procreate App and just want to learn a new art-making skill
You want to make a beautiful piece of art without having to draw anything first
Meet Your Teacher:
My name is Melanie and I love painting with watercolors and creating digital artwork! I have taught painting and art classes for years and I also sell my own artwork as digital graphics (like clip art), finished designs on Society6, digital coloring books on Etsy, products and coloring books on Amazon, and so much more. You can learn more about me on my website if you'd like. :)
What We Will Do In Class:
I will walk you through the entire process of coloring a coloring page, digitally. There are several ways to do this, but I will be showing you my favorite way. It includes both a drop fill technique followed up by lots of hand-coloring for a hand-done look. I don't leave much out, so feel free to skip ahead once you feel you've got the process down. However, if you love to see things from start to finish, this will be right up your alley. I include lots of little tips and troubleshooting advice throughout the whole process.
