Dark Psychology and Manipulation

We all know who the "bad guys" are. They're the ones who cheat, steal, hurt people physically or emotionally. However, they're not always the bad guys we think they are; there's more to them than meets the eye. Dark Psychology and Manipulation is about different personalities, crime cases, why things happen in society, and seeing through psychological manipulation to see an individual's true motives and intentions.
How Do You Manipulate People?
The most common way individuals use manipulation is by using charisma; it can be seen as creating an emotion (either positive or negative), such as fear or excitement from another individual. The one who has superior charm over another may use that to gain their trust. For example, a police officer and suspect might communicate through a translator or face-to-face communication once they are both in the same room together. The suspect may make up a story of having no choice but do what they did because of their current financial situation.
To help them seem like they have the upper hand, the suspect gives thought to a strategy that would make it look like they did it because of greed for money or fear of life in prison. This attempts to manipulate them into believing they acted out of greed/fear for their own lives. In the end, they believe that they can influence their decisions about the crime. Another way of manipulation is by coercion. Coercion means using fear of losing something or gaining something as advantage to gain trust. For example, a man may try to coerce a girl into sleeping with him by saying, "I'll give you an A in class if you sleep with me."
