In (Fig I.3)we can see how master Botero solves this problem bydraw an orange with your style clearly distinguishable.Learning to represent a face realistically will help usunderstand the basic principles of drawing: perspective, proportions, composition, line, shading, etc.Understanding the fundamentals and principles is essential toto be able to create a clearly distinguishable pictorial language (style). That is why in this course we are not going to see only the steps, asif we were making a kitchen recipe, but we are going tooccupy ourselves with understanding what are the problems that we have to solveat each step and we will propose a solution.Understanding the problem will in turn allow you to propose other solutions.different from those proposed in the course, since mastering the method thatI will teach you in the following chapters will give you a starting point forbe able to experience later.
