    In this class we will be exploring the medium Gouache as we learn how to paint glowing sunset landscapes. We will learn about the materials, basic layering techniques and then we will create three paintings with a limited color palette. 
    We will be learning how to paint glowing sunsets in real time. We will take each stage step by step, from mixing colors, to painting and the finishing touches. 
    Materials required:
    300 gsm watercolor paper, with a smooth finish, about size A6
    Goauche paints (colors white, cadmium yellow, indian yellow, vermillion red, helio green or sap green, burnt sienna, vandyck brown, black)
    Mixing palette
    medium sized round brush (size 7), a flat brush for painting the background and a small details brush (size 0 or 1)
    Tissue paper
    masking tape
    Also included in this class are detailed pictures of the finished pieces that you can download to get started.
