The grooves in the book are actual catchy grooves that are practical and fun to learn! . Rather than learn a couple of ideas and lessons and then put the book on a on a shelf, I actually felt drawn to learn the other ideas that book had to offer. The book is still on my music stand and still being used when I practice the bass guitar.
