If you want to get better at drawing portraits, it makes sense to put some time into practicing drawing the individual features of the face.
In this drawing tutorial I'll take you through the skills and techniques needed to draw a realistic mouth from a photograph. We will warm up with some useful drawing exercises before moving on to a full drawing. I've broken the project down into four main steps that cover planning the drawing, sketching, shading and adding fine details.
