Description
There are some simple and affordable ways to finish the jewelry you create. There are several options, like using various findings or tying knots. After creating the pendant, you will need to hang it on a necklace. And sure you could make a beaded necklace to pair with the pendant but you can also string it onto a piece of cord. Tying a knot is probably the simplest way to end a piece of cord jewelry. It’s perfect for long necklaces that you just want to slip over your head. An advantage when using this method is that you don’t need to add a clasp to the necklace you created. For the cord ends you can also use fold over crimp ends, that are flat pieces of metal with a flap on two sides. They have a loop on one end and a tiny spike on the other end. The spike digs into the cord and secures it. In this course you will learn the basics of jewelry making with tips, techniques, and how-to become familiar with the different findings used in jewelry creation. I will talk about how to create handmade jewelry ends and closures, in order to create an esthetic jewelry that expresses your own personality.
